Somewhere .... In Time My Love, I lean back, in my swing tonight, overlooking the balcony trying to capture a breeze listening for my words, the ones that are missing in my thoughts words ... that I can't hope to express telling of secrets that have been hidden so deep, inside one's heart that as they rise in throat they seem to catch and choke leaving me gasping for air, still needing that one small breath. just one ... to allow me the chance to regain my senses to be able to feel again to smell the newness of life to be able to see through the shadows to know that there exists for one somewhere ... the warmth somewhere ... the truth somewhere ... the affection somewhere ... the love somewhere in time... As I await, the comfort of thee. Lady Ollyne [This message has been edited by Lady Ollyne (edited 03-13-2001).] |

I had to come in cuz you used the title of one of my favorite "Christopher Reeve" movies. Lovely poem, too. I would suggest using my instead of mine as no other part of the poem supports this particular vernacular use of this form of that word. Its tenderness and strength will be improved if you do so, I think, but you're the author, and your decision writes the piece. |

someone. . . in time. . . beautiful. . . ------------------------------------------------------------ To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
