FIVE YEARS

when the world was falling over my head
and I felt nothing but sorrow
you looked at me
- you with your blue eyes!

and when the world was cold and empty
and there were black clouds filling my mind
you came up with a difficult question:
“dad, is god even stronger than batman”?

and when I was burning inside
and I missed what I had lost in life
you took me to McDonalds
to talk about things that really matter

and when I could not finish
what I had started
you told me about your latest victory

and when I saw no meaning in life
and I was afraid of tomorrow
you reminded me of that grey cat we met this morning
on our way to kindergarten

“yes my love, god is even stronger than batman”
