~*~ The Wizard of Seduction~*~ by Mysteria He can pull mind wrenching tricks out of his hat, He eats at your heart and soul like a hungered rat. But you continue to let him eat away at your pride, For this secret love is probably something you hide. Heart pounding, blood rushing, you hear what you need, And this demon lives on your passion with greed. He gives you more, only to let you fall deep, Splintered tears of glass, trust me, soon you will weep. Does he care you are broken, believed in this love? Did you really believe your love flew on wings of a dove? Think again, you've been had, now this spider can rest, On you, he didn't even have to perform magic at best! His sleeve and his hat have more tricks to be played, You are only just another victim - one that will fade. He will retreat to his pit; you were but his nectar, The wizard of seduction, the internet heart collector. Don't fall victim to these seasoned birds of prey. They plan thier course like eagles in sickly flight, Be careful, watch your heart on the internet, These preditors are everywhere, all day and night! Nice to "meet" you, yes, I realize much of this is absolutely true but I've met four WONDERFUL people online, I'm not speaking of giving my heart, or affairs but I mean "friends" although...well...jeez...I'm sweet and innocent you know (ha ha ha) and well, yes, this is needed oh I admit this needed to be written.... very true in some cases. I do thank you for writing it, but I also feel there are women predators......oh boy I'll get blasted for saying that!!! Hi Kathleen, nice to meet you too. Yes I agree there are a lot of women predators. The reason I wrote this is there are too many trusting people out there on the net, and once predators get your confidence, you tell them TOO much. My rule is Never give out real information to people I do not know well or a long time, period. I never lie, but never tell them exactly where I am. I am sure there are positive relationships develop as well, but I had a bad experience so now I am careful as trust me they are out there. I have written of a site to look at that will scare you into being careful, it did me! This guy actually kept a diary on the internet for 6 years stalking a woman, and no one did anything...he killed her! The site is in memeory of Amy Lynn Boyer, and they are trying to change laws to govern the web and stalkers. The site is very graphic and disturbing (as they do warn), as the killer's diary is also posted. :http://www.geocities.com/almfacv/ Now this does happens...my little poem is just to say, "Be careful"! I have made lovely friends on the internet, but I use caution. ~*~A poet is someone who reads more than they write ~*~ |

Wonderful advice that I think we all should heed. There are a lot of these people out there and you can never be too careful. I'd rather be cautious and alive any day. I agree with Kathleen, this needed to be written. Thank you for writing it and posting it here for us to read. Lone Wolf Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
