In my garden ~in my life~ I pull ghostlike stalks empty shells of something once beautiful vibrant and full of life but long since gone knowing there is no room for tomorrow's beauty unless I let them go After years of searching, I have found I am nothing more, nothing less...I am in truth Just A Woman after all. |

Oh to let them go such a job....good write !! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |

smiling here...that's what I think about when I weed my garden. A word of caution here though, when you start designating names and personalities to the weeds you're pulling? TIME FOR A BEER BREAK....rofl... But I did love your poem, Welcome to passions, fellow gardener! |

Thank you SEA and Ethome! Serenity, then I must owe myself about a million beer breaks! Thanks, all, for your kind responses. After years of searching, I have found I am nothing more, nothing less...I am in truth Just A Woman after all. |

Must always take care of your garden, and keeping your garden is always not easy, weeding it to only let the beauty of yourself shine on the world for others to share. Bernie Bernie Slicker |

Dear Just A Woman I am glad I found this. A gardener must take the old with the new. I have written a poem called "Yesterday's Beauty" that is in much the same vein of thought. Love. Joyce Johnson |

This was great. Kind of reminds me of that old saying "out with the old, in with the new". Well done! Lone Wolf Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
