~*nature and you*~

sitting on my back porch
i gaze at the sky--the color almost indigo
the sun is now setting low
the trees begin to playfully dance--
as the soft wind begins to blow

so many colors fill the depths of my eyes
red and orange now mixing with a purple hue--
feeling at such peace
i just let my mind completely go
as i now am thinking of you

spring days are here long last
as the dull of winter starts to fade away
reminds me of the feelings in my heart
the light of your friendship and love--
is more beautiful than anything i've seen today

the sun seems to be smiling now
as she descends once again until tomorrow
finally my heart and soul can breathe
like a bird i could fly--
no longer consumed with sadness and sorrow

nightfall has come now
moon shining now along with the stars high
realizing you see the same sky as me
with the same exact stars
even though you can't see me i face west
then i walk back inside--feeling relaxed and free

If love had colors it would probably just as you described. Wonderful and romantic poem. Read you soon, take care, and keep writing!

A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes.

The colours of the sky are beauiful arent they. Anyway if you only going for a bit then see you later

Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning.

thank you, I am a nature lover and you took my interest with the title. I loved it!
