Think of me when you are sad,
Think of me when you are glad,
Think of me when you are mad,
But don't think of me as your dad.
For that makes me old,
And for now I just want you to be,
The best person you can be,
And hopefully stay a friend to me.
Sometimes when you think of life,
You think of hard living and strife,
Yet sometimes it does not reach your mind,
But you can leave that stuff behind.
