~*hidden feelings*~

though our eyes have never met
your eyes of brown...my eyes of blue
a multitude of feelings stir within my heart
there are so many things i want to say to you

many things seperate us, more than just physical
mountains tall and oceans wide--
though we desperately try not to convey how we feel
there are just some things you can not hide

i hear the smile in your voice
when the two of us speak
the sheer sound of your voice
leaves me feeling completely weak--

i feel myself pull back
telling myself this simply can not be
the reasons are quite simple
you don't belong to me

i have no rights to you
yet, i can't change how i feel
i dont quite have a word for what this is
but these feelings are pure and real

we have both been hurt from our pasts
hurt so deep, that it broke our hearts in two
so...we build these walls
now neither of us knows what to do

someday i may find myself
look deep within your eyes
the mere thought of that
leaves me with a contented sigh
