Bleed I want you to bleed upon the scales of justice tipping the tarnished cups to bow down to me in defeat, I want the spider to get caught in his own web hung by the silk-spun threads of his own destruction, for you, to be trapped in your own jar with one air hole for false hope as you slowly waste away from the suffocation of repent, I want you to drown in my years of infested tears, to lick my wounds, poisoned by the salt of remembrance of your infliction of pain, I want you to be thrust upon a bed of nails laced with barb wire slashed by the sting of my brokeness, for you, to be tied to a cage as rats knaw at your heart, bit by bit as my walls close in on you while you watch your life pass before your cold, black eyes, even with all of this you cannot know of the torture my mind and body has endured, I want to breath without the fear that you are waiting to suck it from me, I don't desire revenge I want a vampire to show remorse, to let the sunlight pierce his darkness, when you bleed only then will I be free *By Melissa Honeybee* |

Melissa...there just are not words for what this evoked in me...this is amazingly painful and yet sings of hope...yes I saw a glimmer of that in this too...we who walk in the pain always search for the light...and how can you search without the hope that you will find it....excellent writing~ |

Wow! Melissa! This is hotter than hell! I'd hate to read what you'd write if you did want revenge.......Powerful ! Intense! Thought provoking! The perfect poem to write to a vampire I'd say.........well done!! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |
