Ok i'm not Irish and i've never been to Ireland, but I have Irish acensary. Anyway my uncle had a friend form Ireland who drew his home of Ireland from memory and now it's here in my home. I'd thought I'd use it for this challenge. Lines of Ireland There's a picture, That dons the wall, That has always compelled me, Of what it was like, To live in that farmhouse, The emerald Isle people tell me, The colour green rings clear, But this picture only, Black, white and the inbetween grays, Yet I see the colour of blueskies, The green in the grass and the trees, I see the sliver of day old duckings The sweet colour of farmlife, Stood in awe of my imagination, I stood in the lines of Ireland. Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning. |

Ooooh, I like and now, you have given me inspiration to try one, too. Since I'm not Irish either. |

Moon Dust, Well done and very original. You are very lucky to have that picture. Thank you for sharing it with us! Lone Wolf Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
