Shimmering
It was left in the moon's wake,
I'm sure it wasn't by mistake,
It sat on the ocean top,
Up and Down it would not stop,
In the darkness of night,
It gave me it's light,
It could not be clutched,
Nor could it be touched,
It was beautiful just glimmering,
The moonlight was shimmering.

I'm glad you got something out of this, but it isn't about the moon. It's about the feelings I had just after I broke up with a long term girl friend.
