All my life I've been Someone elses' something Grandpas' girl Moms' right hand Little sisters' protector... Best friend, wife, mother... ...but now...now... It's my time My time to soar, To learn, to teach, To explore, to seek All I've missed in my life. It's my time To find the child Who got lost long ago And let her play. It's my time To nurture the young girl No one had the time to teach And show her the world. It's my time To cherish the woman I've become And allow myself to love Myself. It's my time. |

Your time to shine, nurture that little girl.Beautifully capture in this work. A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes. |

Wonderful truth here Paula...and I have reason to believe that you will enjoy that person immensely because you are such a tender hearted poet and that will surface in the new you....and it will make the journey so much more pleasant....love to ya Eric ethome The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |

It's been my time for quite awhile, but I can't find that little girl. She must still be hiding afraid to make a mistake. Go enjoy and tell us of your adventures. |
