Tapestry Long Strong Sliver ‘cross a pattern’s intent. Pirate’s contempt for a linen map. Turquoise....sea? Opal....sky? Ruby....sunset? Riches to plunder from an old tin box. "HEY, DON'T THROW THAT AWAY, I MIGHT NEED IT SOMEDAY!!!" Packratmike |

Hmmmmm, did Koko get it right? OR...are these your thoughts upon spying some 'treasure' at a flea market or estate sale? Interesting poem. |

Sounds like a dip in the sewing box to me...all the rich hues of silken embroidery strands...working its magic on a blank field of white cloth...painting pictures with thread... |

Perhaps these jewels were found in Pandora's box? Either way, I loved this! Smiles to you, Kate Genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood. T S Eliot |

Thanks everyone for the comments and guesses. This poem must seem a bit cryptic, but if you look at it the way Paula did it may make more sense. Paula, your interpretation was right on target!!! |
