Now I want no more of it-- this time is farewell... I've never known the joy of it-- I've only tasted hell. For every time I'd pirhouette, I'd stumble on my own... Always pairs of eyes in stare mistaken for my home. I whisper lies of love, just to face the morrow with the winged dove fly--retreat from sorrow (every breeze a joy in borrow) and with every wisp of worry that I soar through-- to know that I'm not with you? YES MIZZ P---THE CARPENTERS...and? "goodbye to love" happens to be my new theme song...oh...DRAT!!! lol...but truly Karen Carpenter had one of the richest voices I've ever heard--(and yes..music I listen to is VERY diverse... ) |
