A Simple Touch He gives to me all his words For him a simple touch. They wrap me tender, every breath No hesitation, much. To tempt me when I'm on the edge To savor him my view He sways me when I walk his mind A simple pleasure, too. He feeds me with his eyes of heart And guides me to the light. Removes the darkness from my life Caresses me come night. Drives my world of fantasy My pillow soft, to hold. Makes tears of sad turn happy with A simple phrase, he's told. He is beyond my realm of reach Yet flows with me each day. With every simple touch of him I pause, I smile, I sway. To music soft, his tune of dance His walk of avenue. Slowly thoughts of simple touch Come kiss my world of you. ~~~~~~Wynter Lady In White, thank you for reminding me of the softness of touch: by words alone... your touch was felt gently in my heart softly in my mind peacefully in my soul whispers bringing to me joy... "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |

Thank you Sunshine, sometimes the other poets here, bring to my mind thoughts I have either written before but never posted or a combination added to something I have been thinking about. Her poem below reminded me of how much the touch of caring can mean to someone and how it can brighten their day Thank you again for placing it in your library. ~Wynter/Maureen "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |

Wynter...this is lovely...if I have read this correctly, all we have done is share mutual thoughts to touch others...and isn't that what poetry is all about... please feel free to use any of my words to mingle with yours in the future...perhaps some day we shall collaborate on a piece together... thank you for this gift... |

Very tender loving! A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes. |

You write with such a fresh sincerity, Maureen. Kathleen Blake "When red-haired girls scamper like roses over the rain-green grass, and the sun drips honey." Laurie Lee |

"feeds me with his eyes of heart" What a wonderful phrase and insight. Well done. AT "Beginning is one place, I've been before." J. Anderson |
