I thought, I saw your face reflected on the shallow waters of the pond. I could have sworn that it was you. I remembered, how much I loved you. I remembered, how much you loved me. How your caresses, spread my will, even when you left me. You always manipulated me, but it was fine, for all I ever wanted was to make you happy. Funny, the more I tried, the more unhappy you turned out. That's the story of my life. You, me and the lies. But you know, I loved you hard. And in my suffering,I failed to see, that it was best that you left. Only in shallow waters, you would show your face. A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes. |

walker, Very profound writing. They say hind sight is always 20/20. Too bad we never see it when we really need to. I believe true love is the perfect combination of sharing and devotion. Best of luck to you. Lone Wolf Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

Wonderful depth! Strong, excellent ending! I applaud! I can so much relate to your writing, I really enjoy reading it. "One out of four people in this country is mentally imbalanced. Think of your three closest friends - and if they seem okay, then you're the one." |

I read...sometimes I find it painful to respond. Shallow...is one of those words. |

Impactfully beautiful. Very poingant to whom ever it is written. Lovely imagery. The reflection made me think of Narsicist. "Death marks the beginning, not the end. It is our journey to God." --Billy Graham |
