Should we ever
talk as lovers,
eye to eye
beneath the covers,
trusting hearts
scale fortress walls,
should we ever
talk as lovers.

Should we ever
touch as lovers,
heart to heart
beneath the covers,
soaring high
with gentle thunder,
should we ever
touch as lovers.

Should we ever
meet as friends,
hand in hand
I'll wonder then,
while I'm with me
and you're with another,
should we have ever
met as lovers???

Oh sigh Mike...some chances are worth taking...some dreams worth fighting for...some loves worth hurting for...you just have to decide if its worth it to you...this is a heartache of a poem...
