Look how long it took
For me to get over you
The day you left me
My heart felt like it was pierced with a hook
I sat wondering in disbelief
While you, You acted like a thief
You took my heart and ran
Like I meant nothing
All the time we had together
Seemed to be thrown in the trash can

My heart beats again
Not because of someone new
But because a new season I'm ready to begin
One of dependance on myself
My life is moving on
Like a train at full speed
This will be a time to remember
Because your help I don't need

never be irreplaceable
