As I lay here and
I pray dear Lord
thank you for getting
me through my day

For once again shots
rang out, before my
eye's, and once again
another child die's

I don't understand
were this world went
wrong, when a child
kills one of there own

For all the parents who
morn for there lose,
For all the friends
that we have lost

How is it now that
I pray and thank
you for my life today

So sad it seems that we
go to learn, only never
to return

So dear Lord hear my
pray and help those
children who live in
fear of going to school
every year

In the mist of having another school shooting today, I wrote this poem. Having a child in school myself I know of the terror of sending her there everyday not knowing if she will return to me.

My first thought was "Oh, please... not the children again!" Your prayer is echoed by hearts across the world...

Kerri, I do wish there was some way to protect the children. I dread turning on the news. In my day, it was fist fights and on a rare day, a knife fight. Now, no one knows anything different than the gun. Do you think that child had ever used that gun for anything before? I pray the good Lord will show us the way to help and may it be soon. Hugs for all, ME

I know what you mean. Everything was so much easier when children took up there differance's with there fist's now they run home for a gun. So sad it is that in this world we can not even send our children to school with out the worry of them being killed. Make's home schooling seem like a dream atleast you would know they would be safe. And to answer your question, No he probally never has used a gun before. but he did have the access to them.
