Listening to every heart

0 posted 2001-03-05 01:56 PM

Some One Day

someday
I shall write well
and in writing tell
how I shall sit a spell
there, in your heart,
someday

wherever else
should I be?

for I have no other’s
heart, where we are we

and you ask that I never
part from your reality

that in my smile
you shall forever be

using my eyes as
a mirror of time

in that I am yours,
as you are mine

O come, love, come
through forever run

where our us might
play beneath the sun

where we might savor
our being undone

some one day,
I shall write quite well
and in writing quietly tell
how I shall sit here a spell
living in your heart,
someday

You already write quite well and some one day you'll be sitting in that heart, if you're not already.

I really like this...

"using my eyes
as a mirror of time

in that I am yours
as you are mine."

Very very nicely done dear poet lady!

Kari dear heart not only do you write quite well, you write brilliantly, like angels kisses, your words arise from the page to enchant the soul. That's probably a mixed metaphor, well whatever it is, it's a great discription of your writing. Absolutely first class love as always
And yes it's a keeper and I love it
Take care love as always
