Lost in time that is dark and lonely,
wandering, lost in despondency.
Then, lifted up from the quicksand,
by someone who cares, as memories
come unclouded from pool of fear,
of terrors now shared, which were never known.
Feel warmness and relish the light of day,
Out of grasp, of the demon that shattered joy.
