What happens when he makes you laugh even when you don’t want to and what happens when he can look you in the eyes and not walk away afterwards what happens when you want to hold on to him and run away at the same time can you tell me what happens when you do your best to push him away and he holds you tighter which is what you and he knew you needed all along what happens..... Is it possible to be crazy and consider him yours is it possible to talk to him at night and believe he can actually hear you somewhere deep inside is it possible to defy everything you know and everyone who knows you just to see him and look into his eyes and touch him and is it possible to be touched back is it possible that he will do the same just for you to be with you to look at you to touch you because he has to in order to breathe just like you is it possible... You could say this is my Independent love song I don’t really know what I’m doing or how to do it you could say I may be pushing him away or drawing him closer it’s a bet I have to make you could say I’m showing him how to hear me I’m showing him how to love me you could say maybe my way isn’t the best way maybe he knows how to do it right he doesn’t need my help you could say I don’t know how to let go and let him catch me you could say either let go of the cliff’s edge or let go of him the choice is so easy you could say... Don’t be so scared to trust him don’t be so worried he’ll let you down don’t wonder if he is trying to say goodbye when he says hello don’t close your eyes and play pretend life isn’t pretend this isn’t pretend don’t act like he doesn’t shake you to your toes don’t be afraid to look him in the eyes because he needs what you need in one way or the other don’t ever be what you aren’t don’t ever hide yourself don’t let go of him let go of your past don’t let your past keep you from life don’t forget to tell him this is his Independent love song too. unique idea which I would love to applaud. this was a wonderful piece hun. spoke volumes about who you are and what you want/need and what you fear as well. and it contained it all within a few neatly placed words that came from the heart. truely inspirational. |
