“ONCE UPON A TIME”
by

~~~~
I remember the quiet evening, when we first met,
it was during the summer,
warm, with a peaceful sunset…
You were sitting there, wearing a pretty blue dress and all,
brown hair flowing, and with eyes so soft,
I heard them call…
We spoke at the same time, and I fumbled with my words,
they just wouldn’t come out straight,
only backwards…
It didn’t take much to do this, just one loving look from you,
and I had these strange feelings,
didn’t know what I should do..
I stumbled and fumbled, as you showed me the prettiest smile,
one like I have never seen,
and I stood there staring, for awhile…
You held my hand in yours, and I knew it was you alone,
that made me feel the way I do,
happier than I have ever known…
I must be the luckiest person in the world, and won’t forget,
being there that quiet evening,
for it’s something I’ll not regret…
Never have I met someone, with your tender ways,
and now I have known you,
during every night, and all of the days…
Not once have I felt the closeness, that you give so true,
and I will be eternally grateful,
for meeting you……….,
I had to smile gently at the open honesty in this. Beautiful and touching! I could just see it.
Words right out of a fairy tail. You even helped me to imagine where you were by how you brought us into the setting. Wonderfuly written.
Once upon a time
Moonchild took a chance
and met the one behind the blue
exchanged in sweet word dance.
He fed her well with thoughts of then
and now, tomorrows will
A certain special someone,
was this tale of sweet Barbill
haaaaaa* wanted to tease you a bit..Italian anyone?
I love how this goes Bill! You are sure leaving a lot of romantic notions in the reader's mind. But you are so darn good at these romantic scenes! I love the format too......good work .....my friend!!
