The Shores of Alone

Not yet is it over
the passionate kisses
Not yet is it over
the way that she misses.

Not yet has he given
a reason for leaving
Not yet has he given
their love chance for healing.

Not yet is goodbye true
though they're so far apart
Not yet is goodbye true
while he lives in her heart.

He's not yet forgotten
her love made of rainbows
She's not yet forgotten
his love, which he won't show.

Not yet is he ready
to forsake lips of wine
Not yet is she ready
to forsake love divine.

Not yet and not ever
will their love be denied
Not yet and not ever
though tonight she still cries...

(sigh) Such sweet sentiments and sincerity expressed in this beautiful poem! Yes, it is not yet over, and true love will never fade! You have such a beautiful heart, dear friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
