Nothing in life is guaranteed You can't be afraid of chance though Sometimes life will call your bluff Love and happiness allow us to grow Perhaps loving is a mistake But life isn't about faking Give love and life more than just a glance The risk really is worth taking Better to be true to your heart Then to stand behind in shadows and never try Much rather cry from a heartache Then to cry because to myself I told a lie So... Take the chance Take it right along with me We might fall flat on our face--yes Then again we could fly free You feel this connection too I hear what you do not say So extend your hand and trust me Together...we'll find the way It may turn out that friends Is what were meant to be Then again...perhaps there's more Only by taking the chance...will we ever see Amy M.
