 I Thank A Lucky Star ~*Marge Tindal*~ When the sunlight of another day has ended and you come to lay so gently on my mind I will thank a lucky star for the wonderful friend that you are Cause you just are my favorite kind As the moon rises to full-phasing in the indigo sky up above I'll think of you with happy thoughts of a friendship filled with love Then upon each star I see I will hope for a wish to come true That I can be the kind of friend I have found in you There is no greater gift I give but what has been given me in great measure To hold your hand in friendship is my greatest treasure So I thank a lucky star that we have come this far And from the twinkling sky above I send to you - my heartfelt love ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
