Is love that fuzzy feeling
you get way down deep inside,
is it that certain thing
that makes people run and hide?

Does it make your heart skip a beat
with a single glance,
is it soft lights and music
passionate nights filled with romance?

Is it tried and true
solid as a stone,
does it leaving you feeling empty
when it has left you all alone?

Does love make you swoon
and leave your mind to ponder,
does it fill your heart with joy
or make it feel asunder?

Love can be sweet bliss
a broken heart is taint,
I might not know what love is
but I sure know what it ain't!

Wonderful read from you. I really like you taking on trying to define love and you have done a marvelous job in doing so. There is so much to love that it could never all be penned nor even expressed but you have made a great start.

Oh I wish I had more time to be here than what I do. You have all been so kind in your replies to my words and I am so very grateful. I was sitting one day pondering all of the things that love is, and the twist to the ending came when I realized that none of us never really KNOW what love is, but we all have an idea of what it "ain't" Thanks all so much and peace my friends. {HUGS)
