Incantation Tender tender is the tread that winds its way to love, Slender slender is the thread that binds me hand in glove, Colder colder I would be without your gentle touch, Older older than the sea but knowing half as much, Find me find me oh my love time is short make haste, Bind me bind me hand in glove lifes to short to waste, Hold me hold me gentle dove ever to be near, Teach me teach me oh my love for ignorance is fear. OLIAS~ Quite an enjoyable read. Very imaginative piece. I played a little magnetic poetry with your verse~ 'Incantation Tender slender is the tread that winds its way to love, Slender tender is the thread that binds me hand in glove, Colder older I would be without your gentle touch, Older colder than the sea but knowing half as much, Find me bind me oh my love time is short make haste, Bind me find me hand in glove lifes to short to waste, Teach me hold me gentle dove ever to be near, Hold me teach me oh my love for ignorance is fear.' Olias. I genuinely enjoyed this. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

I particularly liked this: "Slender slender is the thread that binds me hand in glove..." It so happens that during esbat, a high priestess, binds herself, lest her thoughts materialize and affront The Goddess--as sabbat is not a day for self, but for worship only... Very touching read for me, and very very astute rendering here. |

That's quite a magical ritual of romance you've penned there Olias...very well done my friend!! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |
