What Holds A Love?

What holds a love that’s perfect and whole?
Is it the protection of a truthful trusting soul?
Will it survive the passion of the stormy sea?
Sailing ever onward to truths hope and beauty
What of the rocks waiting to rip it all apart?
Will it last out to where the magic can start?
What holds a loving and giving perfect love?
Only sighs that are within the wings of a dove

What nurtures a heart letting that love grow?
Is it the warmth of a kiss that brings a glow?
Will it dance forever in the heat of its flame?
Will it have the courage to proclaim its name?
What of the desire that simply bursts through?
Will it always be there making you sigh phew?
What nurtures a soul that feels the liquid heat?
Only sighs that make your heart feel its beat

What calls forth a spirit that leaps in delight?
Is it the power of loves pure enchanted light?
Will it continue in its dance among the stars?
Will it soar eternally free from mistrusts’ bars?
What of the love that seems to just overflow?
Will it be there forever wherever it may go?
What calls forth a heart to dance loves song?
Only sighs that wrap around it all night long
Marsha

my two cents

the answer is

Never giving up

You want to know what love is it is simply. NEVER EVER GIVING UP

And then again
I have learned the oppositte

And so it goes.

Forgiveness

And yet it can and often is the hardest thing to give. We so often expect the other to be perfect. That's very hard to live up to.

Beautiful writing.
