A leftover portion of vanity almost surrendered to insanity and one last seizure bruised No more will I be used. Are mocking sounds still heard games played with every word. Nausea burns her now- for every slash endowed. Cruelty dealt a swift sound oh, sure time out, it’s a rebound. But I smile knowing I have not lost it's a touchdown, the truth at all cost. I'm angry and sick and tired I'm burning from rage unfired can't think, rhyme or reason today it's about time, I had my own way. Believe in yourself, first of all even though other voices call take care of those who need you. but remember, it’s alright to please yourself Emily [This message has been edited by emily (edited 03-01-2001).] |

Oh yes it's nice to please, but we must remember sometimes we need to come first. Very thought provoking words you have written today. Enjoyed! |

Emily, Excellent advice here!! Bravo to you for posting this. The truth is not always pretty, but it needs to be heard I think. And yes, it is ALWAYS ok to please yourself!! Lone Wolf Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
