Jumped in with both feet Sun rises again in the east As if I didn’t know that was going to happen! It’s funny “life” It for some reason forgot to explain? Just why I’m here again In a sinking boat just off shore One paddle and no fixed oar Mom never taught me how to swim Lucky gal Look another mess you’re in!! No matter how hard I try The shoreline is always just out of reach!!! “Oh” but here’s my cup Please tell me it’s half full I dare you to!!!! Convey that wisdom you so cherish, Indulge me please!!!!! Once again impart to me Just what is it I’m supposed to do? Just jump in with both feet Out in front so you land right side up!!!!!! But the news reports Rip tides today just off shore!!!!!!! How about that Something else to combat Except for problems by the tons Where is the glamour “where’s the fun”? In this life so humdrum Tell me fine tell me true I’m going to make it through This awful day With at least parts of my sanity? And maybe some of that wisdom too!!!!!!!! Well, if we learn from our experiences, don't we gain wisdom? Sounds like a rough sea. I hear tell we're supposed to embrace our challenges, see them as opportunities, but don't you, sometimes, just want to lie down and take a nap? |

Hi Vas, "YEPPERS" a nap, a simple nap! just a tiny little nap!! to recover from all of the screaming, kicking, throwing things, really its just one of those days you move forward one step and backwards three!!! and yes to all you said but I prefer to take that nap, Love, Cerenity |
