Ideas of What if...

Fastened together by the contact
of our eyes, I find my trembling
hand steadied by the strength
of your own.

Emotions stirring inside me,
a whirlpool of passionate desire
grows stronger, as we both know
the pleasures awaiting our ever
abounding fantasies.

Afraid I'll say something silly
unable to utter a sound -- filled
with ideas of what if -- my shyness
draws you closer to me still, sharing
a passion so intense, it brings a
weakness to my knees.
