I am reposting this from the other night. I don't understand why some poems go rarely read. I think everyone puts their heart into writing them. I understand the older members get more read. I just think we all need a chance. Thanks for reading this. Nighttime's Glory Our souls lie beneath the diamond pieces Hanging silver overhead My heart waits the moment sleep will come Destination reached on sunsets bed... I hope to find us walking valleys So blessed with sunlight's face Where velvet waters run along our side Each touched with daytimes grace... I hope to meet you running through Sweeping fields of brown Where wildflowers lined in pastel light Sway endlessly around... Nighttime's glory is where I hope to rest When I drown myself in purest white I want to feel it's glory I've been given It's unknown shade of night... So, I just close my eyes in the hopes to see you Dancing on mountains top on high I vow to follow every angelic move Where our arms can reach and touch the sky... Let us find together nighttime's glory Where you can swing from star to star Giving wonder to how darkness gives way To closeness to all that's been ever far... Nighttime's glory is a path that is paved It takes us to rainbows traced in gold Allow the moon to watch us moving as one To lullabies as night unfolds... I want to hold your hand each step of the way Until the dawn peeks through the skies And, let me stay just long enough with you To watch the roses open their eyes... Saun Sauni :) Have you ever known the color grey when the nighttime finds you weak I have, I've walked that road each time; that's where my angel sleeps |

I enjoyed this very much. I like the progression you followed to the night. |
