I guess I must admit it...there’s a woman in my life. And, no, she’s not my sister, and, no she’s not my wife. Don’t jump to some conclusion, for it’s really not that bad- I proudly call her “daughter”... and she proudly calls me Dad. She holds a place within my heart, untouched by any other... Different than the boys do, and even from her Mother. There’s a unique relationship... I guess it’s really sad- The love that binds the hearts of girls so tightly to their Dad. For there a place he occupies, that’s suited for a man- One day someone will take his place, and ask him for her hand- The pain that come with parting... is the worst he’s ever had- She breaks his heart so gently when she has to leave her Dad. |

Sir....you have captured that feeling of a daughter's love for her father...thank you for that... |

A daughter never really leaves a loving father, GS... for his love is with her every step she takes. This is so beautiful... my Dad may wonder why he gets an extra bunch of hugs when I see him again. *S* |

She won't be leaving you at all....a bond between parent and child is unbreakable by anything. |

That place in the heart is 'reserved' forever...no one can ever replace you there. This is touching, John. So sweet. |
