three words are simply all that is the only three I know exist that say it with profundity and cover all complexity each nuance every shadow play where are the words I long to say? With adoring gaze of you I think them an idea--new and always I am so amazed as if I'd coined a brand new phrase... I love you. And that says it all. But yet won't touch my heart in crawl simplicity of not enough I love you madly - love you, love. and yes, type is so incomplete... and words are lovely lover's treat but still I yearn to have still more I love you, love you, mine? Adore. |

I agree! I said to my wife once..."you know dear the two hardest three word expressions for another human to say are 'I love you' and 'I'm truly sorry' so she said to me ....."I'm truly sorry I love you" I thought "Hell, that didn't work out quite the way I planned!" Good write Celeste!! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges.
