Thanks to dreamkeeper for the challenge phrase (check them out in the Challenge Forum!)

Who seeks the dying ember
within this tender flame
who builds the warmth with gentle care?
and calls this lover’s name?

You cannot chide the blaze
as it dies for want of air
so bank your fire faithfully
and tend it with great care

Though sunny days may warm you
it’s the night than can be bleak
but if you keep the fires kindled
no other flame need you seek

Oh wow!!!!!!! That's beautiful. So very true. I'm in awe!

I like this inspriration!

indeed we must first tend to our own flame, and only then will we attract the flames of others. . .

this is excellent. . . have I mentioned that it's good to see this coming from you???

A challenge met beautifully. Well done.
