This recited poem is fairly small and
hopefully won't take to long to load...
just be patient,
open a second window and do
something but it will load.

In The Dreaming… a sonnet

Awake to life beyond that fragile weave,
Exposed I am this shame the loners walk.
My heart the target missed by cupid’s deeds,
I fear the pass of time in ticks of clocks;
I search and search the crowds for eye’s apart,
It does consume my waking hours it seems.
A joke of life the role of lonely hearts,
If fate denies me love I’ll surely scream.
This chest does hold the beat of loves kind soul;
I’ll be the prince of one who sees of me,
And vow this truth to you my heart of gold,
Oh, show that welcome smile that I do need.
   I know you search like me, still believing,
  At least we’ll meet tonight, in the dreaming.

Another nice one, Parker. You're going to have all kinds of people dreaming here.

I really like these Recital poems you do.
This is the line of lines...

"A joke of life the role of lonely hearts,"

This is so insightfull so powerful, so...so... Buffy like.

I think I had better go back to bed.

I'm not currently able to hear the recitation, but I did enjoy the read and the last two lines, especially.
