With All The Words With all the words That spells out lonely The ones most heard Are if only So sad Lost chance Almost had Loves dance The words of regret That spells out pain And upset Once again You hear The sound Of tears Sorrow found With just a sigh That calls to the night It seeks to fly Lost its flight Break free Of the fear Of misery Hearts tear With all the time That is left to you Seek to shine Be only true See light Banish hate Be bright Don’t be late Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

Beautifully woven. Yes, 'if only' can be the saddest words or even a trap into undue guilt. To break free from that phrase is extremely necessary. Great lamentation ending in sound advice. |

Marsha Your words are sad but beautiful. There are many "if only" times in one's life. I enjoyed the visit. Ariana |
