Sunset Hair by Michael Auguste Each day he wakes to love's caress. Is cherished by a heart so pure. Now that her hand does reach for his, life seems more easy to endure. Her skin of silk and sunset hair do mesmerize this man of art. He bathes within her warm embrace and never does he want to part. That hearts can touch and both alight, exites him so when they do kiss. Their passion pushes back the dark. Oh how he's longed to know such bliss. As candles spill their amber glow, upon her face, he seeks her eyes. Then he, her moistened lips explore, while from them both escape soft cries. Such beauty has he rarely known and peace of mind to fill his days. What depth of caring that has grown. He loves her in so many ways. |

Mmm, I love this flow, and the feeling is romantic and beautiful. My favorite style, also, the feel is lyrical and precise at once. Sandra |

Greeneyes, Thank you. I don't really see myself writing anymore romantic poetry. These days my poetry doesn't seem to have much direction. I find my words stumbling and not knowing where to go. Again, thank you. Michael Proust- "Love is space and time measured by the heart" |

Voiceless, I'm glad you liked this. I haven't written a romantic poem in several weeks. My inspiration has left me. Any romantic poems I post in the future will have to be some of my old work, I'm afraid. Right now it's hard to even find a reason to write. My muse is gone.
