(not sure - possible repost)

Soft summer rains
Day-Lilies glowing
Butterflies swarming
Little birds crowing

Black-eyed Susans
The smiles of babies
First solid food
No ifs, buts or maybes

Baby's first tooth
And first steps taken
All these and more
Like first words spoken

A glass of iced tea
a hot summer's evening
The buzzing of bees
To watch the sun leaving

A hand reaching out
Shooting stars in the night
An "I love you" smile
Soft eyes in moonlight

God answering Prayers
Warm fingers clasping
Climbing the stairs
When it's your cheeks they're grasping

Great souls have wills; feeble ones have only wishes.

Bill--Wonderful sentiments and poem!

In the dew of little things,
the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.
