You Knew You knew before I’d even spoken one word You knew that my heart my soul had heard You said it’s because your spirit touched me That out of my captivity you’d set me free I only know that my soul takes off in flight That you are the star that gives me light You knew before my eyes had even seen you You knew my thoughts and feelings were true You said it’s because this was destined to be That fate had decided you would meet me I only know my eyes fill with hopeful sighs That you are the breeze that moves my skies You knew before I’d felt your tender touch You knew that my heart needed you so much You said it’s because this was written before That this beauty and magic will be evermore I only know that my heart knows all of you That this feels right and special and so true Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

This is so tender and warm Marsha.....sometimes there is someone that really does know. This is very romantic and full of the music of love...good work my dear nurse friend! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |
