Wish you could come for breakfast
and you could bring some cream
for I’m having peaches and pancakes
so high that it’s a scream

Yes fresh elberta peaches
red-rosy at their pits
and yeasty, light pancakes
I tell you, “This is it!”

Oh, here you are
you’ve brought some cream
May God bless you so
It’s great to see you my dear friend,
sure wish you didn’t have to go.

I was feeling feisty and in need of some whipping cream for my feast. Aren't I just naughty?!

So I just get to deliver the cream and depart, drooling over your feast? LOL. Well, be that way... but remember, you get all the calories, too! LOL

oh I love this, so pure of heart....and good gosh I am glad I read it after lunch...you would have had me knocking on your door in about 2 seconds *g* nice writing here

Thanks, zoe! You have me a grin, too! It's definitely a good thing you read this after lunch as I wrote this last year and I'm fresh out of pancake batter. ;o}
