"New Beginnings"

from darkness and gray
has come sunshine and light
dark shadows are fading
colors of my rainbow are now shining bright

heavy burden has been lifted
setting my heart and soul free
my eyes no longer teary
as i finally am able to see

still long road ahead
taking it day by day
you are still trying to keep in touch with me
when no more words do i have to say

i kindly wish to be alone
however i'm sorry for this ending
from hurt and pain can come love
as i begin my new beginning

just remember that while the door needs to be shut right now. . . you may need to open it again sometime in the future. . . so don't lock it. . .
