A special thank you to Kathleen for her help in editing this. I appreciate it. ![]() The sun burns my skin As we sit together on the sand We speak of tomorrow As you take hold of my hand I am captured in your eyes They are wild as the ocean While I am with you The world is slow motion I can hardly believe We are talking like this Who knew that my life Could respond to such bliss Your voice is so soothing A symphony to my ear I sing with every word As you draw me near In your arms I know I belong Your music completes Love’s sweet song I hear it softly Floating on the air Letting me know You’ll always be there Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

I told you not to say that, YOU wrote it, and it's great!!!!! "When red-haired girls scamper like roses over the rain-green grass, and the sun drips honey." Laurie Lee |

This is very romantic...and I think Katleen should be happy that she helped you write such a wonderfully magic piece....keep it up!! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |

It's a very special feeling when one poet helps another poet put things together "just right"...as is this! |
