Good Times I will always remember the good times we had you and me Not the fighting and hatred you see I will remember what it felt like to lay next to you afraid to touch you and the first time we kissed I remember that like it was yesterday and not months flown away I remember Ruby Tuesday's, the movies-both here and there I remember how much you cared Laughing over nothing, careless days we did have No, I try not to remember the bad Putting each other to tests to prove how faithful the other would be That was careless and sheer stupidity We are both mature adults and should have handled it like so My love for you will always continue to grow Sometimes I see you online and want to say hello but something in my heart tells me No. Someday I hope to have you back as my friend And if that day happens, I will never let go again |

Like this alot. I can relate to seeing someone on line and just the sight of their name making me cry. Hope you feel better about all this soon. Keep writing...you know it helps. |

Wow! there's some remorse here for things done wrong...but hey we're all imperfect and you have got this down real good here and I could feel the pain....I enjoyed how you captured the sorrow! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |
