I dream of you Night and day Your gentle touch The words you say Speak to my heart Giving it hope No longer dangling By the end of the rope The sun shines In your sparkling eyes There is no fear You tell no lies Your love is true Sure and strong I know I am finally Where I belong Your arms enfold me Sheltering the storm My head on your shoulder Love in the simplest form Your kiss is like A caress on my lips To my heart It’s a total eclipse I feel your warmth In all you do Now my life’s So very new I place my faith In the man I see With his support I can at last be me His love makes me whole The emptiness is filled As the pieces rejoin The water’s are stilled Turmoil has left Never to be seen again The only question Where shall we begin? Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

Begin! Begin! Ok, who is your muse! I love it!!!!!!!!! "When red-haired girls scamper like roses over the rain-green grass, and the sun drips honey." Laurie Lee |

Beautifully romantic....that ending is really a catcher....begin just begin! I agree with Kathleen......get it on with love.....take care! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |

Very nice, well expressed. Just let the love flow.... A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes. |

A very nice read. And what a pleasant decision your last line offers. May all choices be such AT "Time is merely change. It neither enslaves nor determines us. It is instead our opportunity for self-definition" |
