Beyond Born Expression By Richard Maxfield 10-10-200 Beyond friendship Passed lovers Beyond the bond Of others We touch In such a way People only dream Can’t even say Unspoken words Our hearts chant While others Rave and rant Mixing spirits Mortal flesh entwine On the table of love We dine Not coincidence More than fate No expression Can relate To others It don’t seem fair Being as one We both share Born as one Though flesh apart Two people With one heart |
