Wildflowers

tenacious hold
rooted deep
wildflower blessings
in summer creep
to carpet in pink
in purple and yellow

fields and furrows
see soft red mallow
like a vision
in perimeter's view
when you look close
they fade on you

ofttimes a man of little means
know what it means
to look in eyes of blue
dapper now, a floral gift
he presents his love to you

tiniest flower of
yellow on sprig
purple lupine graces tall
careful not to bend the twig
of sage that feeds the
souls of all

green O green
might my valley be
but when the wildflowers
bend in wind
graced be the
eyes that see

Lady in White,
Spring is in the air in this lovely write.

first, the photos were lovely, and the verses lyrical... very nice

i have a wildflower garden every year. i purposely plant wildflowers in one special corner of my garden ... hehe... so? i have a question... if i'm planting them myself, does that mean they're not wild any more? hmmmm... makes ya think, doesn't it? *grin

....*sigh*.... i can't wait for spring... i love my garden.... hate cold weather...

thanks for the lovely presentation

Just beautiful and I truly loved the pictures so much...great work!!

Ladyinwhite,

Are these photos you took? They're wonderful! It almost always seems when I try to take floral close-ups a breeze blows at the snap of the camera shutter. I do have a tiny number that have come out.

Nice presentation!

Lovely - simply Lovely = reminded me of the garden outside the Hathaway in Stratford
