I Am Yours Reach into the night and feel me there I am the heat and the flames you share The caress of fire that beckons you on The kiss of desire, the face of the sun I am your dream that you want so much I am nirvana the blessed longed for touch Stretch out with your hands and feel me I am the misty dream that sets you free I lift you up and away you then soar The blessed release that urge for more I am the hope that is there in your sigh I am the wonder that makes you softly cry Hold out your arms and whisper come I am the answer to your hearts sum I am the beginning of your path to you The way for you to work it all through I am the peace that you endlessly seek I am your base rock and I’m your peak Speak my name and I will fly to you I am the one who will be forever true I am the star that you must aim for I am the desire that burns for evermore I am the entrance the opening of doors I am the hope you dream and I am yours Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning [This message has been edited by Marsha (edited 02-17-2001).] |

This is so openly honest and unselfish Mushy....I really think you did an exceptional job on this piece Marsha...I can't say enough! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |
