If I were to love you for one Summer's Rain, Would I really love you? Or only whisper in vain? Lightning strikes my very fibers, Somehow I can't decipher, The symbols of the heart, If I were to Kiss you by the fullness Of the moon, Would it be to soon, For my heart to swoon, Full clad I stand in tune, Waiting for the signal,be it from rain, Or the brightness of the moon? My body seems to eradicate itself, Just aching for the Summer's Rain. Yet the moon glows translucent, More pain, until the sun awakes me, wanting sweet Refrain, for yet another moon , while standing in the rain. thank you, there's something about the rain that clings to the heart. |
