Once I was a little girl Hiding in a woman's body Never did I know how it would feel to grow up Grow old Grow out Grow away from these feelings locked inside Everything will be all right A phrase heard over and over in my head Too much crowded my mind I had to let go Lose control My thoughts My hopes My dreams This secret place took me away broken and bold Teasing and turning wearily Back to the place where I belong Once I was a little girl Who had wishes galore Now here I am A woman Laying in this place in space Dying Love, Lady Live in my world just once and you'll find yourself enraptured. |

This is sadly haunting my dear. We are all children inside, I hope we never lose that...and it's sad when that child realizes the truth about growing up. |
